🍴 Recipe - Slow-Cooked Beef Knuckle / Chuck

Takes a couple hours in the oven, but if you’re home on a weekend anyway it doesn’t really matter. Only takes MAX 30 minutes of actual effort.

A chef friend made this recipe for me, super easy, not many ingredients. Yet one of my all time favorite dishes.

Life expectancy, exercising vs not exercising.

7 years is the difference between a normal weight person that trains 150+ minutes per week compared to a Class II obese person that does not train. Class II obesity is classified as "Moderate form of obesity".

🏋‍♂️ Cable flys, what’s the difference?

Great exercise! We talked about it from a scientific POV in a previous email. The study had found cable flys to be a better exercise for muscle growth than dumbbell flys.

There are 3 main variations of cable flys. Low cable setting, middle and high.

One tip that works great for all of them, is to imagine that you are trying to squeeze your biceps together, rather than pushing your hands together. This small shift usually results in a much better connection to the chest muscle.

Cable flys from below, targets the upper chest a bit more. Which is what’s lacking for most people.

Low cable flys, for upper chest

Cable flys from high, targets more lower chest.

High cable flys, for lower chest

And you guessed it, if you put the cable in the middle, it’s a combo of both.
